What to expect daily ...
• Take detailed requirements, determine the right front-end strategy and craft exceptional user experiences across all devices
• Responsible for the quality and robustness of technical deliverables
• Be a hands-on technology expert, shaping the concept and seeing it through to detailed design and implementation
• Participate in estimation, planning, design and ideas stages
• Constructing and developing on a technology stack that meets the needs of rapid prototyping, whilst also serving as the foundation for future development.
• Work in partnership with the tech lead to troubleshoot problem areas and manage changes in scope and devise contingency plans.
Accountabilities:
• Develop high quality code
• Deploy code through technology stack
• Partake in solution design sessions
• Champion agile, lean, DevOps and automation process
Experience Required to be successful:
• Strong experience in ReactJS & NodeJS (or Java/Kotlin)
• GraphQL & AWS experience
• Strong Mircoservices experience
• Excellent knowledge of common front-end development tools such as Webpack, GruntJS, GulpJS and NPM.
• Excellent knowledge of testing solutions e.g. Karma, Mocha + Chai, Jasmine, Protractor/WebDriver, Nightwatch, Postman.
• Working knowledge of distributed version control, e.g. Git
• Solid understanding of RESTful web services and a working knowledge of JSON
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web-based products
