Job Description - Fuel Operator - Defence (261644) As a key player in the Defence industry, UGL plays a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide. From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team's expertise ensures we deliver effectively and sustainably.
As a result of expanding scope of works within UGL's portfolio, we are seeking expression of interest from experienced Fuel Operators to join our Operations & Maintenance team at the Edinburgh RAAF Base in SA.
This would be an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australian Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation. Benefit from the opportunity to work with a Tier 1 services provider in a long-term, operations and maintenance contract.
The RoleReporting to the Operations Supervisor, this role will be based in Edinburgh, SA, supporting a number of fuel installation sites in the region.
DFI OperatorAs a DFI operator, you'll be tasked with various operational and functional roles around the installation.Ensure the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing.Experience in a similar environment would be highly regarded; fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing environments.What you will NeedAlong with fuel experience, you will be a strong team player, a self-starter, and a dedicated employee.Defence specific training will be advantageous; however, this training will be provided to the successful applicant where required.Valid Drivers Licence (HR or HC will be highly regarded).Safety is at the forefront of everything you do!Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance.Live locally, or willing to relocate to the Edinburgh / Adelaide region.What we OfferThis is an opportunity to join UGL as a full-time employee on a long-term contract within the Defence sector.
