Fruit Fly Controller

Randstad is currently searching for Fruit Fly Controllers to be employed on a casual basis to assist in eradication of fruit fly in the Riverland area.

$35.30 per hour - 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday - casual assignment

Barmera based work site

Responsibilities include:
- Baiting, hygiene fruit checks, fruit gathering and disposal, sterile insect breeding and releases, setting up traps
- Conversing with landowners in a respectful manner
- Updating and following directions from notes in an iPad
- Working in a team in a respectful manner
- Working in all weather terrain and in outdoor environment in full PPE
- Listening to and following daily instructions
- Drivers may be required to drive long distances to fruit fly outbreak areas throughout the Riverland.

Requirements:
- Full drivers licence (preferred)
- National Police Clearance
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit
- Able to work 5 days per week
- iPad experience (preferred)
