The property attracts a primarily corporate customer base and has a growing team of 10.Quest Mawson Lakes now has an exciting opportunity available for a Front Office Team Leader to join its team on a full-time basis working 38 hours per week.The RoleReporting to the Hotel Manager, the role involves leading a small reception team, as well as hands-on reception tasks, including providing friendly, personalised customer service in responding to accommodation enquiries, promoting the business to achieve sales targets, processing reservations and ensuring full and accurate data capture, assisting corporate and leisure guests, and ensuring the smooth running of the reception team and function.Your team leadership activities will involve working closely with the Hotel Manager on recruitment, rostering, training and leadership of the front office team to ensure high levels of work productivity and quality, positive employee engagement and retention, and strong alignment with Quest's established model and procedures.This role also involves on occasion staying in the hotel and looking after the night phone on a rotating roster.The Ideal CandidateWill demonstrate a passion for customer service, advanced skills in promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities, excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, high standards of personal presentation, and strong leadership capabilities.Prior experience in a front office reception role in a hotel environment is essential, and prior experience with leading a team would be a distinct advantage.Qualifications in a business discipline or the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded.The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
