Front Office Manager

Lead and support our front-line team members. Build your leadership skillset in this key role! Front Office Manager – Permanent Fulltime.
Reporting to our Director of Finance & Support Services, the Front Office Manager has the overall responsibility for ensuring delivery of excellent customer service and revenue protection through timely and accurate processing of admissions. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership and support to a large team that cover various admin functions within the hospital.
Key accountabilities:

Managing the patient administration process which includes: scheduling, booking, verifying patient's health fund coverage and providing accurate cost estimates / informed financial consent.
Ensure accurate and timely provision of paperwork / certificates related to admissions required to submit claims.
Liaise with internal and external customers / stakeholders to assist with the admission process.
Provide leadership and ongoing training to admin staff.
Support the culture for continuous improvement and lead the change management process where required.
Demonstrate the Ramsay Way.

To be successful for this role you will bring:

Experience in all areas of front office management, preferably within a health setting.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage individuals and work groups.
Demonstrated commercial acumen, attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
Excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills.
Willingness to learn, be flexible and ability to adapt to changes.
Ability to understand and apply the practicalities of health fund contracts.

Desirable Criteria:

Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or related discipline.
Knowledge of Health Fund contracting system and processes.
Experience within a health care setting.
Meditech or similar patient administration software experience.

Remuneration:
Will be based on experience level and qualifications.

Requirements:

Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.
