Front Office & Guest Services (Hospitality & Tourism) Full time Are you a charismatic individual with a CAN DO attitude? If so, we are looking for someone just like you. The iconic Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges is currently seeking a Front Office Manager to join our team!
Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, you will lead the Front Office Team and implement and maintain a high standard of customer service in all areas of our operation.
This is a Front Office Manager role with rotating hours of shift.
General Job FunctionsSupporting, training, and supervising front office staff.Scheduling shifts to ensure 24hrs rotating shifts are fulfilled and managing other HR-related tasks.Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the reception area.Monitoring stock and ordering office supplies, including stationery and information leaflets.Preparing daily/weekly/monthly management reports on customer feedback, bookings, and cancellations.Managing the departmental budget, roster, payroll etc.Enforcing all cash-handling, checking, and credit procedures.This role is ideally suited to a natural leader who has a keen eye for detail and the ability to drive service at every level.Maximizing the efficiency of reservations and Front Desk activity.Ensuring efficient and effective inter-department interaction within the hotel at all levels.Maintaining a hotel log, following up on guest complaints or concerns and ensuring closure with a positive outcome.CustomersEnsuring that all customer-related tasks are handled accurately and on time to improve guests' experience.Achieving a level of service quality that consistently meets and exceeds the expectations of guests and staff.Maintaining our guest recognition and VIP program.Handling customer complaints and special requests.Ensuring in conjunction with front office and accounts that the AR setup and charge back authorities follow hotel credit procedures.Maximizing average rate and occupancy.Ensuring guaranteed bookings and cancellation fees are charged where appropriate.Consistently delivering products and services that meet the quality standards and expectations of guests.Helping maintain our reputation as the market leader in accommodation, product, and service.Apply now, we would love to hear from you!
