I have partnered with an exciting start-up business here in Sydney that is looking for a front-end focused full-stack engineer to join the team.
This business, which has just gone through a round of funding, is helping to transform the solar industry through building cutting-edge software to drive sustainable energy solutions.
The RoleWorking as a full-stack engineer with a focus on the front-end, you will help to develop and maintain web applications for the front-end while also contributing to back-end development in C#.
The core product in the business is simulation software that provides data and accuracy around solar panels, weather forecasting, and also yield for the solar panels, so someone with prior experience in responsive design and web performance is ideal.
You will be proficient in UI/UX design principles, proficient in one major front-end framework, such as Knockout.JS, React, or Vue.js, solid understanding of TDD, and ideally some back-end experience in C#.
Requirements Around 5 years of experience in full-stack engineering with a focus on front-end.Proficient in UI/UX design principles.Strong knowledge of a major front-end framework such as Knockout.js, React, or Vue.js.Understanding of responsive design and web performance optimisation.Experience with C# and the .Net framework for back-end development.Strong communication skills.This role is ideal for a candidate who wants to join an innovative technology business that is building software for good.
