Front Desk Officer

Details of the offer

Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming telephone calls, take down orders, and address queries.
Provide accurate information in person, over the phone, or via email regarding products and services.
Assist walk-in clients and coordinate with the yard staff for order loading.
Guide customers and suppliers to collection and drop-off areas.
Process customer payments, invoices, and day dockets accurately and efficiently.
Resolve and action all weighbridge/customer queries promptly.
Accurately record weights and complete the necessary documentation.
Schedule tasks and deliveries in the system.
Professionally manage two-way radio communications.
Ensure trucks have the required paperwork from site to delivery.
Assist in maintaining and ordering office supplies.
Perform data entry and other duties as directed by the Operations Manager.
Carry out clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a receptionist or administration officer.
Demonstrated commitment to high-level customer service.
Strong interpersonal skills, both face-to-face and on the telephone, computer literate, and well-organized.
Strong attention to detail and a self-motivated work ethic.
Able to multitask and can work well within a fast-paced team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
