We are seeking 2 x Fraud Analysts to join the Fraud Detection & Response team within Rabobank's Financial Economic Crime Operations & Intelligence function. Based in Perth, you will report to the Team Leader, Fraud Detection & Response.

As Fraud Analyst you will be responsible for monitoring, investigating & responding to scam incidents detection, analysing relevant data to identify potentially fraudulent transactions or behaviour & emerging threats or trends that may be useful to the Bank to mitigate fraud risk.

Top Role Accountabilities: Triage fraud alerts & investigate, escalate & report fraud incidentsCommunicate via phone & email with client to gather relevant details as part of investigationsConduct external fraud investigations & post investigation activities, including, in collaboration with key stakeholders, loss assessments & recoveries, & analyse incident & investigation activities to identify enhancementsPrepare cases ensuring decision-making, risk mitigation & recovery is appropriate & documentedIngest & analyse large & complex data sets to develop fraud trends, conduct investigative research into losses & analyse loss type data to determine the nature of fraud patternsUse data to provide insights on patterns, emerging threats & changes needed to fraud detection rules or fraud controls to stay ahead of evolving trendsWork with broader team & other stakeholders to define, develop & test fraud scenariosOngoing monitoring of existing fraud detection scenario suite to ensure that they remain effective, & the false positive ratio is kept to a minimumInput on scam loss & client experience data & trends for internal reportingConduct analysis & assessments as required to support new/updated products, processes & systems To be successful in the role, you will have: 2-5 years' experience in a similar role within fraud operations/risk managementExposure to fraud alert managementExperience in investigations & recoveriesData analysis & reporting experienceExperience in analysing & interpreting large data sets to identify & assess potentially fraudulent activity, proactively identify fraud trends, propose new scenarios to detect re-occurrences & assist in business decisionsStrong investigative skills with a keen attention to detail & thorough, logical thinkingExcellent communication skills including the ability to talk confidently & professionally with clientsKnowledge & experience of ThreatMetrix or similar tool highly regardedAbility to be autonomous & self-sufficient as well as collaborate within a team What we're proud to offer you: Rabo@Anywhere is our hybrid way of working at Rabobank & for Australia, that means we have a blend of time working between the office & home
