Senior Budget Analyst and Budget Analyst Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting)Government - State (Government & Defence) Full time Level 5/6 $96,307 - $185,716 p.a PS CSA A 2022 We are looking for two talented and motivated individuals to join our Finance and Procurement Services team: a Senior Budget Analyst and a Budget Analyst.As a Senior Budget Analyst (Level 6), you will be responsible for coordinating the development of the Department's strategic budgetary and resourcing plans and submissions, including tariffs, fees, and charges. You will also:Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Department's financial management systems and data, and use it to conduct variance, forecast and trend analysis, problem solving and performance reporting.Provide accurate and up-to-date information to stakeholders to enable appropriate management of resources and delivery of corporate objectives.Supervise, mentor, and support the budget analyst and other staff within the teamLiaise with internal and external stakeholders, including other government agencies, on budgetary and financial matters.As a Budget Analyst (Level 5) you will assist in the development and evaluation of the Department's strategic budgetary and resourcing plans and submissions.
