We have an incredible opportunity for a talented FP&A Analyst with Rotary Wing experience to join our team in Perth, WA.
The purpose of the FP&A Analyst at CHC is to assist in driving the financial success of the business unit.
You can expect to report to the FP&A Manager and international travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities: As a FP&A Analyst, you will be at the forefront of the financial success of the business, providing insights and advice to business unit and global leadership teams to deliver effective financial planning and performance.
Your duties will include: Preparing financials for strategic planning, annual budgets and forecasts Preparing monthly reporting packs, including analysis of actual financial performance with in-depth analysis of variances.
Assisting business unit leaders to understand their budgets, actual performance and to make decisions Assisting to manage financial risks and opportunities Developing financial templates for budgeting, reporting and analysis Preparing the financial requirements for business cases Preparing the financials and pricing for tenders and other commercial negotiations Developing improvements in business processes and tools to drive efficiency Going beyond to deliver other ad-hoc activities, as required Qualifications, Skills & Attributes: To be successful as a FP&A Analyst, you will: Have 12 months experience within the Aviation Industry in particular rotary Wing In-depth understanding of FP&A and how it relates to EMS, SAR and Offshore rotary wing operations.
Have strong attention to detail with the ability to connect the detail to the bigger picture Be an analytical thinker, with the ability to critically analyse business activities and its impact on financial performance Have strong management accounting skills An accounting qualification (CA or CPA) or completing part time financial studies with practical experience.
Have advanced excel skills and experience in other Microsoft products Have strong written and oral communication skills Be self-motivated and proactive Be outgoing and enjoy working in a team environment Have strong time management skills Minimum 3 years' experience in similar analyst or reporting role Other attributes that will be highly valued include: Experience and a passion for aviation in particular rotary wing Experience in Spotlight XL and Planful (Host) softwares This is a growth role, where you will learn about the business and expand your knowledge base in financial planning and forecasting.
