Job Description Recruiting now for a start date of Monday 13th January 2025.
The role of a Claims Consultant is a challenging and rewarding role within the Life Insurance Industry.
It requires you to assess and adjudicate on claims made by individuals under their policies who are at their most vulnerable (sick or injured) efficiently, fairly, and honestly.
As a part of the role, you will at times interact with a variety of customers, doctors, accountants, lawyers, rehabilitation experts with a goal to make decisions.
It is different every day.
We recognise that when our customers come to us with a claim, they're setting out in a direction they didn't expect.
As the experts, our Claims team offers guidance and support and help them navigate something they've probably never experienced before.
We make sure we're providing clarity and certainty every step of the way.
Qualifications Are you a purpose driven individual who is passionate about supporting community during their time of need?
Do you like analysing different sources of information and genuinely enjoy helping people by understanding their needs and situation?
We're looking for talented individuals with transferable skills and knowledge who want to join in our mission of 'being by your side for life' to positively impact Australians.
There are no specific requirements or qualifications, we find the most successful applicants come from a diverse background with a willingness to learn and pursue a new career in Insurance.
Here are some examples: Teaching, Nursing and allied health, physiotherapy, chiropracting, remedial massage or sports injury Counselling or psychology Accounting, legal, finance and tax professionals Customer service/administration, Leadership, Project management, Product, Underwriting, You may also have a background in Work Cover, CTP, health, or other professions which are we haven't noted!
Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential, we will consider all work backgrounds.
