$37p/h+ superannuation + salary sacrifice Part-time (45.6 hrs p/fortnight) Fixed-term position About the role: We are currently seeking a Foster and Kinship Engagement and Retention Worker to join our team in Rockhampton.
They will promote the services of Foster and Kinship Care in Central Queensland and support carers through their journey while caring for young people in out of home care.
What will a typical day look like?
Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of a Community Awareness Strategy.
Design and coordinate Foster and Kinship carer events.
Assist with the organisation's participation in events for target groups to increase the profile of Foster Care.
This includes promotional days, education sessions, training, engagement activities and information sessions.
Work closely with the Foster, Kinship and Intensive Care team to ensure that the impact of any campaign/event is addressed at the planning stages.
Mandatory Requirements: Certificate IV Community Development, Social/Behavioural Science, Social Work/Planning, or a related discipline 1-year relevant experience Who we are: Our truly local team of professionals have worked with people in Central Queensland for over 40 years to support them in living their best life.

Effective time management and organisational skills.
A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.
