The Opportunities The Fostering and Family Care Team is expanding and creating a new team - Fostering Connections. This team will be responsible for providing an information and advice service for all Foster and Family carers in Western Australia. They will work collaboratively with District leadership teams and OOHC provider organisations to provide advice and analysis of carers support needs to inform future recruitment and retention for family based carers. They will propose solutions to thematic carer challenges based on feedback and will work in collaboration with a range of business units to improve carers' experience of accessing information, advice and support when needed. The team will work alongside experienced Foster and Family care team members who lead on recruitment, assessment and approval of new carers, within Statewide Services. Qualification Requirements You must have a Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, or relevant human services area to be eligible for the Specified Calling position/s.
