CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT PERMANENT SOUTHPORT - 25k-30k (DOE)
Our client is a very well established full service law firm who are recruiting due to an internal promotion and continued expansion.
The role will involve supporting a team of Fee Earners with a busy Residential Conveyancing caseload.
They are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant and duties will include:
Taking client calls and providing updates/dealing with basic queriesOnboarding of clients and setting up new files on the LEAP systemCompleting AML checks and proof of funding checksPreparing certificates of title to lendersSubmitting OS1s and K16s and Company SearchesPreparing completion statements and billsPreparing bank paymentsDealing with files on the day of completionLodging charges at Companies HousePreparing Notices to Freeholders/Management CompaniesAssisting Fee Earner as and when required with general caseload.Hours of work: Monday - Friday9am - 5pmThe ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced Conveyancing environment and have strong communication and organisation skills.
Must have a minimum of 12 months Residential Conveyancing experience in order to hit the ground running and assist with running a busy caseload.
