Forklift DriverThe RoleNCL are seeking energetic and progressive individuals for a multifaceted role that actively participates in the day-to-day operations of all activities associated with the cotton gin site. The company is seeking the services of a suitably qualified forklift driver.
Reporting to the Site Manager, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Operating forklifts to stack/unstack items in warehouses as per requirements of the ginning productionLoading, unloading, and transporting goods to designated areas in warehouses of commodity from a variety of storage facilities and freight transportersOperating forklift to hold, lift, and place product as per the operational requirements of the ginning productionUsing gauges, instruments, and other computerized monitoring equipment to monitor equipment operationEnsuring goods are correctly stored as per operational requirementFollowing company guidelines regarding job requirements inclusive of all SHE responsibilities to ensure a safe work environmentOperating forklift in accordance with the requirements of effective and efficient operations of the siteWillingness and ability to undertake training as requiredBeing able to work overtime and weekend work in peak periodsParticipating in maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of all areas of all sites within the region to the highest standardEnsuring information is shared and reported to the Site Manager as appropriateSkills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have experience in a previous similar role and is equipped with a forklift operations background. It's important that the candidate has the following:
Forklift ticketElevated work platform ticket or willing to obtainConfined space ticket or willing to obtainCertificate II or III or 1 year of relevant work experienceNamoi Cotton Limited have positions available in the following locations:Merah North / Wee Waa, New South Wales, which is approximately 566kms from the state capital, Sydney, New South Wales.Goondiwindi, Queensland, which is approximately 352km from the state capital, Brisbane, Queensland.Boggabri, New South Wales, which is approximately 470kms from the state capital, Sydney, New South Wales.Trangie, New South Wales which is approximately 460kms from the state capital, Sydney, New South Wales.
Paid travel may be required subject to operational needs.For the right candidate, a salary of $80,000.00 including guaranteed overtime plus superannuation.

Reporting to the Site Manager, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Operating equipment and machinery in a manner that is efficient and effective, including completing pre-start checks and daily maintenance requirementsChoosing and fitting the suitable attachments for each operationMonitoring the operation of loader to ensure it is within parameterEnsuring safety of self and other workers while operating loaderOperating all aspects of the loader to move materialPerforming minor servicing and repairs to loader as neededReporting faults relating to the loaderFollowing written and verbal instructionsTransporting goods to designated areas at the cotton gin siteCompleting administration and documentation in accordance with management requirements as requiredWillingness and ability to undertake training as requiredBeing able to work overtime and weekend work in peak periodsParticipating in maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of all areas of all sites within the region to the highest standardEnsuring information is shared and reported to the Site Manager as appropriateSkills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have experience in a previous similar role and is equipped with a forklift operations background.
