We are currently seeking a team of highly skilled Support Workers across Dubbo/Gilgandra (NSW) to support a participant with extreme BOCs and substance addiction. 24/7 support required immediately. This role is suited to people trained to deal with confronting situations such as those with forensic/correctional experience, security guards, ex-police officers, veterans, social workers, etc. Staff will need to be vigilant at all times and respond effectively to escalations. Please note, the participant has a forensic background and occasionally services may be paused unexpectedly for periods of time.
About You
To set the benchmark standard of services, we seek like-minded support workers that uphold and represent our core values: Integrity, Empathy, Creative, Inspire, Mindfulness & Bold. In addition to our values, our support staff require Mandatory Experience and Compliance: 1-2 years experience as a Support Worker.Relevant tertiary qualification in Disability or a related industry.Experience in mental health, BOCs, and AOD essential.Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.Medication Training Certificate (or willing to obtain).Manual Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain).Drivers Licence and fully insured vehicle.NDIS Worker Screening Check.Flexible availability across a 24/7 roster.Why Join Danny Met Sally?
