We have an exciting opportunity for a Food technologist to join a reputable leading food production company on the Sunshine Coast for a passionate food technologist who has a knack for quality control, innovation and ensuring that delicious products reach consumers.
Your new role
As a food technologist, you'll play a crucial role in the development, improvement, and quality assurance of food products.
Responsibilities will include;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to creat new food products or enhance existing ones. From taste testing to nutritional analysis, you'll be at the forefront of innovation.Monitor production processes, conduct sensory evaluations, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Your attention to detail will be key to maintaining consistent quality.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, ingredient innovations, and consumer preferences. Use this knowledge to drive product improvements.Work closely with production manager, and suppliers to optimise recipes, troubleshoot issues and streamline processes.What you'll need to succeed A degree in Food Science or Food Technology
Experience in a similar role within the food industry; experience with artifical flavours and colourings is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving
Knowledge of food regulations and safety standards
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
