Permanent Part Time (23 Hours per week) Afternoon Shift - 13:30 PM - 20:00 PM (Weekdays) & 11:30 AM - 20:00 PM (Weekends) About the Role We are seeking applications for a Food and Domestic Services Assistant for our kitchen alongside our Support Services team.
This position is available within the Grampians Health Stawell Support Services Department to provide an effective and efficient cleaning and catering program to the patients, residents, clients and staff of Grampians Health.
Key Responsibilities Prepares, plates and delivers food and beverages as per documented work schedule.
Cleans dishes and kitchen equipment including, utensils, plant and equipment and general accessories.
Timely requests for supplies and maintaining adequate supplies for cleaning duties.
Maintains any records or associated documents as directed.
Train new employees and provides ongoing training to staff as required.
Communicate and cooperate with team members and assist with team duties as required Skills & Experience Applicants should have a strong work ethic, good communication skills and demonstrate a positive and approachable manner.
Time management with previous experience in a similar role are desirable.
Demonstrate willingness to commit to the mission, philosophy and values of Grampians Health Stawell Relevant qualifications in Food Safety Cleaning Standards, equivalent experience or demonstrated ability to grasp and learn these skills.
Demonstrate the ability to achieve a high level of attention to detail and accuracy of work, particularly in the processing and recording of clerical information and data.
Demonstrate possession of positive interpersonal skills and a team-work approach, including the ability to communicate with a broad range of people.
