About the role:
Support Food Service delivery at Uniting AgeWell Strathdonbyproviding a service in accordance with the current planned menu and requirements of the Food Safety Program, that supports and enhances resident's individual needs and wellbeing.
Tasks include:
Working within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining daily and periodic cleaning schedules for food preparation and food service areas
This is a Part Time position working 32 hours fortnight, Sunday - Wednesday 3:30PM - 7:30PM
Serving residents meals in dining hall services and trolley service to rooms, washing dishes, sandwich making, providing cups of tea or coffee to residents and their visitors
Provide feedback regarding residents' likes and dislikes regarding menu planning and escalate any observations or concerns in residents conditions
Promote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends
Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise
About you:

Have experience and expertise working in food service; preferably in a health, hotel or aged care setting
Can work at a fast pace as part of a team
Are experienced in customer service and provide excellent standard of service
Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision
