Our Wests Nelson Bay site is currently seeking casual Food Court Wait Staff to join their team for the upcoming summer season. This opportunity is responsible and key to our front of house and back of house operations across our food outlets. Providing outstanding customer service, daily activities will include:
Provide friendly and efficient service to members and guests Clearing and cleaning of tables after use Polishing and preparing cutlery Ensure correct COVID-Safe cleaning procedures are followed Assist in scullery as directed Work under the direction of the Catering Manager Help foster and contribute to a happy team environment This position will require availability for split shifts for lunch and dinner service. Availability for work on Friday nights, weekends, and good availability through the week is a must. Our seasonal peaks run through summer from early December until February, availability during this time is essential.
This position has been identified as a traineeship opportunity. Complete formalised training to gain a Certificate III in Hospitality, a nationally recognised qualification.

About you
You are someone who can work under pressure while at all times ensuring that our current high standards are met. Previous experience in similar catering operations or the likes of fast food chains is desirable. Along with good work ethics, you will have the ability to work in a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills. Your excellent customer service skills and attention to detail will have you thriving in this position.
