Job Description Reporting to the Restaurant & Bar Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and motivating your team, ensuring they deliver professional, efficient, and friendly service. You will assist the Restaurant & Bar Manager with the day-to-day operations in The Quartier Bar & Restaurant, In-Room Dining, and Conferencing/Events. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing guests and patrons an experience and environment that meets their expectations. Familiarising yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met. Liaising with customers and the Chef/kitchen brigade to ensure service times are adhered to. Ensuring revenue for the shift is accounted for with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities. Ensuring guest billing is completed accurately following hotel procedures and that correct charges are posted. Setting up systems to protect and maintain control of restaurant and conference service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carrying out regular stock takes. Being knowledgeable of and operating within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies. Qualifications A true 'people person' who can create connections with our guests and residents quickly. A passion and well-rounded knowledge of the latest food and wine trends. Holding a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. Availability to work a rotating roster.
