As our Food & Beverage Supervisor reporting to the Venue Manager, you will support leading a team to deliver the daily operations of the venue and provide an exceptional guest experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will have the opportunity to create a wonderful experience for our guests, take good care and have a hands-on approach when maintaining efficiency of our barista service, general product and technical knowledge.
A few of your responsibilities: Assist Venue Manager to lead and support achievement of financial and operational targetsSupport the Manager and Assistant Manager in the development of business plans for the outlet and assist with the implementation of the business unit's and division's strategiesSupervise staff and assist the Assistant Restaurant Manager complete all people planning requirements including training, development and performance management of staffSet specific daily performance objectives for all employees and supervise the service flow and performance standardsEnsure all staff adheres to cash handling procedures, and record all cheque, money, credit card and room charge transactions in the MICROS system in accordance with policy and procedure Ensure an open line of communication at all times through daily shift briefings and ensure a smooth transition and handover between all shifts. Monitor the quality of food and service to ensure high standards are maintained at all times.Ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace and coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and materials and maintain level of stock.What we are looking for: Supervisory experience within in a similar large busy environment, with a thorough knowledge of food and beveragesDemonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expensesExceptional guest service skills with a proactive attitude and natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guestsHighly organised and eager, with a high attention to detailCurrent RSA Statement of AttainmentFlexible availability for work over a 7-day rosterAbout you: As an expert in supervisory duties, you understand the essence of leading a team to deliver a world-class service.
