As a Food & Beverage Attendant , you'll be a helpful host, a local expert, and a proud brand ambassador. Your vibrant and accommodating personality will engage guests and ensure they enjoy a memorable experience in our ground floor restaurant and bar, Market & Meander. A little taste of your day-to-day: Creating a warm welcome for every single guest that sets the tone for their experience with us Preparing and serving beverages, including cocktails and niche local spirits and wines Taking guest orders, making menu recommendations and highlighting promotions Working closely with the kitchen team to deliver a truly seamless food and beverage service Handling credit and payment transactions Supporting in our function and events space, including set up and pack down and food & beverage service Helping set exceptional cleanliness standards across all work areas and equipment Minimising waste and keeping your supervisor or duty manager in the loop about any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents What We need from you: Experience - previous experience working in a hotel or restaurant is essential Knowledge of local spirits and wines will set you apart Articulate - a great communicator, you'll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to Your strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg, which can also involve bending and kneeling The flexibility to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays Compliance - Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification (Nationally Accredited) & Food Safety Certificate Must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions What you can expect from us: Let's #Go Further Together and experience a place where you can be yourself, share your ideas, support your personal growth and wellbeing, and be a valued member of an inspirational team.
