Legal Support Manager / Team Leader – 4 days per week This is a career developing role working with a leading global law firm!
Dedicated to the firm's Corporate practice, you will guide and mentor a stable team of legal assistants and administration assistants, ensuring workflow is delegated appropriately and processes are streamlined, ultimately allowing the team to serve their clients in the best way possible.
Working closely with Partners and the broader Operations team in Melbourne, your duties will include:
Leading and managing the support team including recruitment of new staff and day to day performance management Actively engage with Partners and support team on all client and workflow related matters Monitoring and allocating workflow to ensure effective client outcomes Engaging additional coverage and resources for the team when required Monitoring and improving processes to ensure consistency is provided across the team and in line with the National support function Identifying and implementing process changes Skills & Experience It is essential that you have experience working within the legal industry and be familiar with the support role function (either currently or previously).
Additionally, you will have:
Proven experience managing a team (ideally 10+ staff) Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels Exceptional time management skills and the ability to multi-task Strong technical skills A commercial and proactive approach The desire to work in a collaborative team environment As a Global law firm, they deliver on all of the great benefits you might expect, including:
