We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Person to join our small team and contribute to our commitment to excellence & growth in the hire industry.Job Summary: As the Fleet Technician, you would be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our ever-growing fleet of equipment and machinery. You will ensure that all our equipment is in optimal working condition, meets & exceeds safety standards, and that regular servicing and maintenance is completed. This role requires a detail-oriented, reliable, and efficient individual with a strong background in mechanics and a passion for problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of machinery and equipment, from small petrol engines up to 7T Diesel Plant and Equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest safety standards and 'Ready to Hire'.On-site servicing and repairs as required.Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out.Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely repair and service of fleet.Provide technical support to clients and advice as required.Order parts and equipment as needed.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in equipment technology.Be responsible for Workshop Apprentice.Qualifications:Proven experience in a mechanical trade.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and customer service skills.Valid driver's licence.What We Offer:9 Day Fortnight.Opportunity to work with a reputable company in a growing industry.Supportive and collaborative team environment.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities, including industry-specific conferences & mentoring programs.Hourly Rates negotiable for the right candidate.
