We have an exciting opportunity at Head Office for a Fleet Administrator to join our Fleet Operations Team.PURPOSE OF ROLETo support our Retail teams in the operation of Iceland's home delivery fleet of 1,600 vans, keeping it safe, legal and in good working order and enabling us to maximise the sales of our online business.FLEET OPERATIONS TEAMThe role will be based at our Head Office in Deeside. The team consists of 6 Iceland colleagues and 4 colleagues who work for our Fleet Management Partners.We are a team that likes to work at pace, get the job done and have some fun while doing it, so if you're a high energy individual, that likes working with others to deliver at pace, this could be the role for you!KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/TASKSReviewing all vans off road (VOR), analysing patterns & trends identifying opportunities for improvement.Challenge poor practise within our Retail and Fleet Operations.Follow up on completed work carried out on the fleet, ensuring our stores are receiving the best service possible.Monitor & support with all van-related sales losses (Blocking). This will include supporting Store Managers / Area managers and our fleet management partner.Attend twice daily meetings to review blocking – minuting and ensuring all actions are followed up on.Audit damage repair work carried out on the fleet ensuring we are providing the best possible service to stores.Support focus Stores / Areas as & when requiredProcessing store requests / queries - challenging & following up on poor practises where appropriate.Completing & communicating weekly reports to help support the retail team.Processing invoices for third party suppliers, working cross functionally with our finance department on any payment queries.Support the wider fleet operations team with any other tasks or administration as required.QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCEStrong organisational and multitasking skills.Excellent technical skills on Microsoft office, in particular Microsoft Excel.An analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.Confidence to challenge processes / people when necessary.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience working in a fleet/motor trade environment preferred but not a requirement.Make a difference to your career, we expect a lot but you'll get a lot back in return.
