You will be required to work in a small team environment to ensure the reliability and availability of our Fly Ash recovery plant.This position works Monday to Friday with a highly competitive salary and benefits package on offer plus on-the-job training to develop your skills and career.If you are a proactive, innovative, adaptable, and flexible self-starter who sets out to achieve and maintain high professional standards in a strong team environment, we want to hear from you for this full-time and permanent position.ResponsibilitiesDelivery of maintenance services on siteAdhere to H S & E practices and work towards developing a positive safety cultureMaintain clean and safe work areasImplement and play a role in developing continuous improvement initiativesImplement and carry out routine Preventative Maintenance on the Fly Ash recovery PlantEnsure compliance with statutory and other requirementsMaintaining the availability of critical sparesKeeping and maintaining maintenance recordsOther team-based tasks as requiredWhat you will need to succeedA trade qualification as a FitterTrade qualified as a welder, or with strong welding experienceAccreditation for EWP, Forklift, Confined Spaces, and Working at Heights is highly desirableA strong commitment to creating a positive safety culture and team environmentExperience with bulk transfer systems, pressure vessels, and pneumaticsExperience in a heavy industry setting delivering and managing maintenance activitiesExperience working within a similar role in a 24/7 manufacturing or mining environmentExcellent communication ability with strong interpersonal skillsA willingness to work autonomously and proactively in a strong team environmentCreative problem-solving skills with the tenacity and resilience to implement solutionsExperience in carrying out routine Preventative Maintenance tasksA good understanding of computer systems including SAP would be highly regardedOur businessAdbri Cement is a fly ash supplier based at Vales Point in New South Wales, supplying the commercial, industrial, civil, and residential construction sectors.Adbri Cement is a fully owned entity of Adbri Limited; a construction materials and industrial minerals manufacturing company that has been building a better Australia since 1882.
