Fitter Machinist / Machine Technician with PLC ExperienceWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Fitter Machinist / Machine Technician with strong PLC and control system experience. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of automated machinery used across our sites. You'll work on equipment for aluminium window manufacturing, powder coating, glass manufacturing, and timber window manufacturing to ensure smooth, efficient production.
Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance and address breakdowns on a variety of automated machinery.Support the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of PLC and control systems to optimize machine performance.Work across multiple local sites to provide technical support for all machinery, including aluminium window manufacturing, powder coating, glass manufacturing, and timber window manufacturing equipment.About You: Experienced Technician with proven skills in PLC programming and control systems.Team Player with a collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively with colleagues.Hands-On Approach and willingness to take initiative in problem-solving and repairs.Solid knowledge of pneumatic systems and the ability to understand and work with them effectively.Computing skills including proficiency with Microsoft Teams and emails for effective communication.Ability to connect to machinery using a laptop for programming drives and other technical adjustments.Be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing.If you're ready to bring your expertise in automated machinery and control systems to a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges, we'd love to hear from you!
