The Opportunity:
Become a key player in the Machining team. As the CNC Machinist Leading Hand , you'll guide a small team to assess and repair custom-engineered equipment. Your daily activities will include: Guide a team of five, sharing your skills and motivating them to reach their full potential. Operate CNC machinery to achieve high-quality, accurate results in manufacturing. Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure flawless execution in building and repairing equipment components. Use a variety of manual and electric tools to construct, service, and fine-tune complex equipment. Tackle challenges head-on, diagnosing issues and providing effective solutions. Shift Details: Rotating Shifts: 2 weeks Night Shift, 4 weeks Day shift Day Shift: 6am - 4pm Night Shift: 4pm – 2:30am Overtime available —up to 2 hours extra per day, with some Saturdays on offer. What We're Looking For: A qualified Mechanical Tradesperson with proven CNC machining experience. Leadership qualities: A positive attitude, great sense of humor, and the ability to inspire your team. A willing team player who's always ready to lend a hand where needed. A strong commitment to health and safety standards. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.
