The Role
This permanent, full-time position will require you to work on-site in the main workshop within the fitting team. You will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of general machining using lathes, borers, line boring equipment, and milling machines. You will also help the fitting team to carry out rebuilds of a wide variety of fixed plant equipment from gearboxes, pumps, conveyor drums to vent fans in a large workshop environment. This is a residential role in Mount Isa, working a 48-hour week 4/3 or a 56-hour week 5/2 roster.
