About the role Our successful branch Hemmant is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and autonomous Mechanical Fitter who is driven and able to perform breakdown and reactive maintenance effectively.
You will be a critical part of our operations as you will help in ensuring smooth delivery, reliability, and daily processes on site.
This role offers permanent and stable employment on a day shift roster working on a wide variety of tasks.
You will be working Mondays to Fridays from 6 am to 2:30 pm with overtime opportunities.
Duties include: Execution of reactive and regulatory maintenance as well as attending to breakdowns if the need arises.
Identifying opportunities for improvement.
Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding tasks.
Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical drawings.
Participation in regular shutdown tasks as an individual or working with other members of the team.
You will be a Maintenance Fitter who values safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
You are driven, a good communicator, and have the initiative to be effective in this role.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following: Relevant mechanical trade qualification.
Ideally, previous experience in the Industrial Manufacturing industry.
Knowledge in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrics will be highly regarded.
Exceptional fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Have a proactive approach whilst holding safety and customer as core values.
A confident communicator who can work autonomously and collaboratively.
Self-starter who is focused on outcomes and keen to contribute to the business as a whole.
