We stand for innovation, smart solutions, and sustainability! Discover the Opportunity This role will have you responsible for maintaining, repairing, and setting up equipment throughout not only the Bundaberg depot but the surrounding areas as well.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by: Planning, directing, reporting, and participating in all maintenance and associated functions (including machine changeovers and setup) on behalf of the Queensland-based packaging systems team.
Enhancing customer loyalty and Opal positioning through delivery of customer-focused value offerings and services in packaging systems.
Actively participating in packaging systems development and ongoing management as part of the National Packaging Systems team.
Providing support to the Opal Sales team and customers with technical advice, equipment, and project support.

Minimum Requirements Specifically for this role, we expect you will have: Mechanical, Pneumatic, and electrical knowledge required.
Efficient problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hold a valid forklift licence or willingness to obtain.
