They are responsible for delivering the full range of Fisheries strategies, programs and services in their operational area and in state-wide operations and projects as required.The Victorian Fisheries Authority (VFA) delivers a fully integrated fisheries compliance program that comprises prevention (community engagement and education), enforcement operations, intelligence collation and targeted investigations. There will be a requirement to work an annually prescribed minimum number of shifts which includes weekends and public holidays. Recreation leave may be restricted during the peak summer period.This position involves driving a VFA vehicle or vessel as part of daily shift activities in accordance with the Driver Safety Policy.
