Field Practice Advisor
Joining our team means you'll be part of something that really matters. As our Field Practice Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Field Practice documentation suite in compliance with legislative and industry standards. It also includes providing technical advice on documentation and methodology, through guidance and coaching to Horizon Power's workforce on work practices.
This is a permanent full-time role which can be based at our Bentley or regional offices.
Your role will include: Developing and reviewing field practice documentation that addresses the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of work on electricity distribution, transmission, and generation assets.Developing work, equipment, and support instructions for the safe execution of work involving new assets or technology.Identifying, researching, and implementing improvements in tools, equipment, and work techniques for work on or near electricity distribution, transmission, and generation assets.Providing technical advice on work that is conducted on or near electricity distribution, transmission, and generation assets.Conducting field assurance activities to determine adherence to Horizon Power field practice documentation, systems, and processes.You will have: A WA Driver's License Class 'C' or 'CA'.Trade or tertiary qualification related to electricity utilities (electrical, engineering, or safety qualification).High Voltage Glove and Barrier qualification (desired).An understanding of electricity utilities encompassing distribution and/or transmission and/or generation.Familiar with electricity and WHS legislation, Australian Standards, Codes of Practice, and ENA guidelines applicable to a utility business.Our employees enjoy real rewards and recognition including: Working on impressive renewable energy projects across WA.Helping to create a connected and thriving WA.Working in small teams who are part of something bigger for WA.An extensive rewards and recognition program.Access to our award-winning health and wellbeing program.Our workplace culture is created through every interaction, every experience and everything we do.
