Position Overview: We are seeking a Fire Control professional to become a dedicated Trainer and Assessor delivering Certificate III in Fire Protection Control training to apprentices.
This role requires a skilled professional who not only possesses extensive experience in the field but is also committed to obtaining a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to meet regulatory requirements for Registered Training Organizations (RTOs).

Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality training and assessment services in Fire Protection Control Systems Technology, ensuring compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organizations (RTOs).Develop and contextualize training materials, resources, and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learner groups.Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, both theoretical and practical, in our state-of-the-art training facilities.Assess the competency of learners through various assessment methods, providing constructive feedback and support for continuous improvement.Collaborate with the curriculum development team to review and enhance training packages and assessment tools as per industry updates and feedback.Maintain accurate records of learner progress, assessments, and attendance in accordance with RTO standards and procedures.Actively participate in professional development activities, including completing the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment within the agreed timeframe.Qualifications and Experience: Certificate III in Fire Protection Control / Electrician or substantial experience in the Fire Protection Control Industry.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards and regulatory requirements related to fire protection systems.Previous experience in delivering training and assessment or a strong desire to transition into a training role.Commitment to achieving a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as part of professional development obligations.Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.Proficient in the use of MS Office products (Word/PowerPoint etc)Location and Facilities: Our new college in Beenleigh, Queensland, boasts modern training facilities equipped with the latest technology and resources essential for delivering practical, hands-on training in Fire Protection Control Systems Technology.
