Finops Engineer

Our client, a large retail giant, is seeking a FinOps Engineer to join their team and focus on delivery of cloud cost optimization. You'll focus on controlling, optimizing, and managing cloud expenditures. This organisation has significant cloud infrastructure investments (Google Cloud) and would be incredible to work on. Essential Experience:Proven experience in financial management, cloud financial operationsIn-depth knowledge of GCP services, pricing models, and cost management strategiesStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Proficiency in financial tools and platforms, including GCP billing and cost management tools, Excel, and data visualization softwarePreferred Skills:Experience in GCP or a related fieldExcellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience with GCP cost management tools.Familiarity with cloud financial management frameworks and methodologies.Knowledge of financial compliance and regulatory requirements related to cloud services.
