Job Summary: Our Financial Services Representatives are key partners in deepening potential and existing customer relationships. Our FSRs are extremely knowledgeable banking professionals who understand our customer's financial needs. They are well-equipped to recommend the most beneficial products and services offered in the market and, like every facet of Veritex Community Bank, are rooted in truth and uncompromising integrity. Our Financial Service Representatives serve others with hard work, honest business practices, and a deep commitment to the communities we serve.
Veritex Financial Service Representatives are highly cross-trained professionals who provide both Personal Banker and Teller services. They are positioned well by our leadership for excellent career growth and intellectual challenge. While assigned to a home Community Bank Center (branch), our FSR Floaters will travel to other CBCs (branches) to fill in, as needed.
This professional will promote financial products such as credit cards, CDs, IRAs, Treasury Management services and credit options; open and manage deposit accounts and create positive solutions and experiences for potential and existing customers.

Job Skills and Qualifications: Conduct both Personal Banker and Teller servicesServant heart and servant leadership approach to othersIntegrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information are absolutely essentialProficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)Ability to answer detailed customer questions as well as sell bank products and servicesExcellent communication skills needed to identify customer needs and explain bank brochures and other bank literatureAbility and willingness to greet customers in a friendly mannerMaintain a positive and helpful attitude in any situationStrong attention to regulatory requirements and compliance training applicable to position (Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Information Privacy etc.)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to achieve innovative solutionsHigh school graduate or equivalentTwo plus years of retail branch banking preferredOr four plus years of retail sales experienceStrong knowledge of financial product knowledgeCompany Overview: Truth in Texas Banking.
