The Corruption and Crime Commission is seeking your skills and experience to join our elite team. The Commission is currently looking for a Financial Investigator (Forensic Accountant). This opportunity is for a five year full time contract with the possibility of further contracts. THE OPPORTUNITY The Financial Investigator (Forensic Accountant) will be responsible for actively participating in the conduct of financial investigations into allegations of unexplained wealth, and serious and systemic misconduct within the Western Australia Public Sector, including the Western Australia Police, in accordance with the Corruption, Crime and Misconduct Act 2003 (CCM Act) and the Criminal Property Confiscation Act 2000 (CPC Act). This position is also responsible for the analysis of financial evidence and the production of comprehensive financial reports, as well as tactical and operational financial research and analysis activities. THE CORRUPTION AND CRIME COMMISSION The Corruption and Crime Commission (the Commission) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to improve the integrity of and reduce the incidence of serious misconduct and corruption in the Western Australian Public Sector. This is an exciting time to join the Commission's Operations directorate. The Operations directorate is responsible for the Commission's investigations. The two business units, Investigations and Operations Support, work together to proactively identify and investigate allegations of serious misconduct, unexplained wealth and criminal benefits.
