Well established, thriving organic cattle enterprise supplying a premium product to up-market venues locally and internationally.Privately owned and operated, successful organisation with a family orientated, small supportive team of six full time team members.Renovated offices in the centre of Toowoomba with free onsite parking.The Role: Manage all statutory and tax compliance including BAS, GST, Fringe Benefit Tax, payroll tax, workers compensation and income tax returns.Accountable for the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end reporting including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, KPI dashboard and financial commentary/variance analysis.Responsible for payroll function.Lead the banking function and bank reconciliation.Manage accounts payable, reconciliations of receipts.Oversee the fixed asset register, asset disposals, additions and transfers including correct accounting and tax treatment of assets.Responsible for the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and timely resolution of outstanding balances.The Successful Applicant: Relevant University Degree in accounting / commerce.Member of a Professional Accounting Association - CA/CPA/Equivalent.Extensive experience as a small business company accountant.Strong technical accounting competency including sound knowledge of accounting standards.If you meet the requirements and this is the opportunity you have been looking for please click 'APPLY NOW'.
