About our Client:
CoreStaff Darwin are seeking a Financial Controller. Our Client is a Territory owned and operated business, providing a wide range of waste, recycling and environmental solutions across the Northern Territory.
Working with residential and industrial clients, including supporting the NT's largest government and industrial projects.

About the Role & Responsibilities:
Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting functions within the business.
Provide accurate and timely financial reports on a daily / weekly / monthly basis.
Prepare BAS, Payroll tax and other statutory obligations.
Prepare and manage cash flow, budget and forecasting functions on a daily / weekly / monthly basis.
Manage and Mentor Accounts officers.
Continuous improvement in the Manufacturing process.
Oversee the payroll and asset management functions for the business.
Provide guidance on a variety of financial and accounting matters.
Liaise with external accounts at year end.
Ensure compliance with statutory law, finance and tax regulations.
To be successful for this role, you will need the following:
Experience in a Financial Controller's role within a business environment.
Experience in Managing a finance team.
Sound accounting and business taxation knowledge.
Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to interpret Industrial Awards, and provide accurate advice when required.
Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
Punctuality and Reliability.
Current and valid NT Driver's License.
