Creating bonds and connections between people and communities across Australia, Compass Group's corporate footprint is designed for people, the planet, and communities in which we work to thrive now and long into the future.THE POSITIONSupport the National Manager – Internal Audit and Profit Protection to develop and strengthen Theft & Fraud controls framework in line with Ethics & Integrity, People, Finance and Profit Protection.Assist in the development of risk analytics capabilities to detect theft & fraud, financial loss and margin erosion, specifically using data mining techniques to analyse and interpret the data relating to financial risk areas.Work proactively with the Profit Protection, Ethics & Integrity, People team, Operations and Finance teams, within all sectors, by responding promptly to requests for data analytics in order to facilitate investigations into exceptional and suspicious activities and trends.Prepare the case files, conduct data analytics and assist in the preparation of investigation and incident reports to the standard required for effective resolution of investigations into losses through theft/fraud or breach of company processes and policy.Support with the development and reporting of financial risk metrics and performance indicators on key Finance Controls, Theft & Fraud, Internal Audit and Profit Protection.Administer the Key Financial Controls (KFC) compliance program by managing control allocations, preparing monthly KFC updates and reporting on completion of controls, in line with Compass Group calendar.Administer Internal Audit and Profit Protection monitoring and reporting activities.THE PERSONMust have strong technical knowledge in data analytics and sound understanding of theft and fraud detection techniques.Proven 3+ year experience in using data mining or risk analytic tools to identify and report potential financial loss, theft and fraud.Ability to analyse, evaluate and prioritise information and data.Thorough knowledge of key shrinkage indicators.Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and influencing skills are essential, together with a proactive approach, hardworking attitude and a high level of accountability.Attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as this role interacts with all levels of management, across multiple locations, as is having a high level flexibility in order to maintain or shift focus in accordance with changing priorities.Strong coordination and teamwork and a strong emphasis on striving for continuous improvements.Advanced reporting skills, particularly with PowerPoint and Excel.Desirable - Knowledge of IntelliQ, SAP Concur, Appzen, Deputy, Tableau, Power BI.THE BENEFITSPaid parental leave.Multiple salary packing options to make your dollar go further.Easy access to 100+ retail discounts.Opportunity to grow your career and further develop your skills.
