This is for a very exciting project related to an iconic Canberra visitor destination. You will be responsible for developing a high-level range of estimates for operating costs, revenue generation and project planning costs which will be used as inputs into the Cabinet submission.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Gather data inputs, analyse and develop total operating cost estimates, including FTE count, fixed costs, and marginal costs. Identify revenue streams, identify pricing models for consideration and gather data inputs to develop cash flow forecasting and total annual revenue estimates. Quantify total annual revenue estimates. Develop annual government revenue estimates (informed by revenue-share assumptions). Determine staff resourcing and expense estimates. Engage with relevant areas of Economic Development and the ACT Government as needed. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
An established record of minimum 4 years in financial modelling including revenue forecasting and operating cost modelling. Strong analytical, research and quantitative skills, including experience working with large datasets and the ability to produce analytical reports. An established record in evidence-based revenue modelling and operational expenditure modelling cost of running a bricks and mortar environment i.e. facility / venue operations (WHS, depreciation, marketing, resourcing etc. Advanced written and oral communication skills, including experience in writing evidence-based reports for various audiences. Demonstrated strong attention to detail with well-developed problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to understand and process financial information.
