Currently, an outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced and dedicated Financial Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role Your special accounting skills will see you involved in everything from preparing journal entries, month end closings through to bank reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliations.
You will be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close.
Let your technical skills shine as you assist and add value to a strong accounting team.
Your Skills & Experience Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field.
Additional qualifications such as CPA or CA is a plus, but not essential.
At least two years of exceptional financial accounting experience.
Brilliant skills in Excel.
Exceptional experience with accounting systems.
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
Brilliant organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines.
Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritise tasks.
Experience & Skills: The successful applicant will have 2-5 years of corporate/commercial industry experience in a Financial Accounting role with a relevant tertiary qualification in accounting with additional CPA, CA qualification highly desirable.
You will demonstrate: Strong communication to explain complex ideas to a non-financial audience.
Experience with large financial software package.
Pro-active, goal-oriented, inquisitive nature with attention to detail.
Knowledge of MS Office applications (Advanced Excel desirable.)
Strong self-organisation, analytic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritise workload and a "can-do" attitude.
