Although this role will be based in Australia, it will be supporting our team in NZ and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting.Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant – NZ, the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:Coordinating all aspects of the general ledgerPreparing and reviewing account reconciliation and accuracy of trial balance and general ledger postingsTax compliance and reportingEstablishing fixed assets policies and proceduresApproving fixed asset transactions and exceptionsSub-Ledger to GL reconciliationBank reconciliationsThe ideal candidate will:Have experience in a similar roleHave an understanding of accounting standards and accounting policiesHave experience using ERP systemsHave an understanding of tax legislation and reportingBe CA/CPA QualifiedHave the ability to adapt to changeBe a team playerBe committed to meeting deadlinesInclusion & DiversityAt Inchcape, we believe the true power of diversity cannot be realised without an inclusive culture.
