Job Description Summary:
The Financial Accountant is responsible for tax, statutory compliance, and general accounting activities.
This is a 15-month fixed term contract, ideally starting from January 2025 and is based in Macquarie Park, Sydney.
Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of tax calculations and compliance including FBT, GST, TPA, and ITA.Identify and report tax risks to ensure compliance with the changing tax landscape.Assist with the implementation of controls, policies, internal and external audits.Review and improve tax-related work papers.Support month-end closing process.Support various projects. Knowledge & Experience: CA/CPA qualification.Strong knowledge of Australian Tax Law and US GAAP.Minimum 3 - 5 years related experience in financial or professional accounting roles.SAP and JDE experience.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.Attention to detail.Proven experience in process improvement, working proactively and collaboratively.
