They are seeking to appoint a 2 IC to their Chief Financial Officer in a newly created position.
The Role As Pentacon continues to grow their revenues, they are seeking to appoint a talented Financial Accountant to report directly to the CFO.
The business is experiencing rapid growth and as they scale, they don't want to surpass their current operational capacity.
As such, they are investing in people, infrastructure, and software to support the ambitious and achievable growth strategy.
This may include stronger financial controls and more advanced financial systems to support this expansion.

As the Financial Accountant, your duties may include, but are not limited to: Preparation of all month-end journals for the business and associated entities Support the CFO with the preparation of monthly management reporting packs for the business Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations (including inter-company loan accounts) Weekly cash flow forecasting Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register Preparation and lodgment of statutory compliance reporting for all entities including BAS Assisting the CFO with preparation of budgets and forecasts Preparation of taxation schedules for annual FBT and Income Tax returns Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy About You The ideal candidate for the Financial Accounting role at Pentacon will be either a first mover from public practice in business services, CFO Advisory, or audit.
Those with strong commercial experience are also encouraged to apply.
You will have a solid grounding in accounting principles, with experience in financial reporting, compliance, and managing internal controls.
