ABOUT THE ROLE Our client is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant for a full-time, on-site role, Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will oversee financial processes across multiple entities, managing payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage full-cycle accounting processes for multiple entities Prepare and lodge BAS, payroll tax, and other statutory reports Process payroll and maintain employee records Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet items Manage accounts payable and receivable processes Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis Maintain fixed asset registers and process depreciation Assist with budgeting and forecasting Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial data Support the Finance Manager in ad hoc projects and reporting  ABOUT YOU Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Humility: you will define success collectively and not individually. There is no room for big egos or single concerns about status.  Driven: you will have a strong work ethic and be determined to get things done.
