About the role: The financial accountant will be responsible for supporting the finance team by ensuring all information is entered accurately and efficiently in the system, facilitating more efficient, timely and accurate reporting.
What you will do: Reconciliations of group balance sheet accountsPrepare and document consolidation journalsPreparation of statutory accountsPrepare and enter journals around employee accruals.Working closely with the global finance team to understand transfer pricing impacts on consolidated accounts.Review and understand invoicing process, to contribute to controls and authorisationsAssist monthly report preparationAssist the timely annual and half-year audit process.Assist implementation of new audit findingsAssist with the emerging reporting requirements, including but not limited to ESG reportingAssist outlining period closing requirements to the global finance team to ensure timely reporting both internally and externally.Assist with statutory and ASX reporting.Assist with periodic compliance reviews across the finance function.Working closely with the global finance team to understand tax accounting impacts on consolidated accounts.Development of accounting policies and procedures.Support month-end, quarter-end, half-year and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and efficiency.Any other duties as reasonably agreed.Who you are: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred.Knowledge of IFRS & AASBStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.Exposure to NetSuitePrevious experience in audit or listed company roleWhy Join Us: Your Rewarding Career Awaits At Chrysos, we value our team members and offer a supportive and dynamic work environment.
