About the PositionJoining a high performing finance function and a close-knit team, there will be a particular focus on preparing financial statements and statutory accounts for multiple entities.
You will also analyze variances and produce informed and considered commentary to help guide business decisions.Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing financial statements for multiple entities.Assisting with the preparation of the Group Consolidated Financial Statements.Assisting with tax planning and analysis including Group profit distributions.Preparation of Income Tax Reconciliations and Income Tax Returns ensuring statutory income tax requirements are met.Supporting in ensuring the monthly reporting timetable and processes are adhered to.Responsible for financial reconciliations and review of general ledger balances.Supporting in the direction of the development (including automation) of accounting systems, methods, reporting and financial controls.Assisting with the internal audit function as required.Assisting with various projects needing to be undertaken within Finance as directed.Ad hoc projects as they arise.About YouFor success in this role, you will be a technically strong accountant with CA / CPA / equivalent qualification.
You will have experience of preparing financial statements (within a practice environment / industry role) and be comfortable working to tight deadlines within a high performing environment.
